Summary of Startup Weekend
We would like to thank all participants, speakers, mentors, judges, sponsors and media partners for their participation in the 1st Startup Weekend Krakow, which was held on the 20th-22nd January 2012 in Krakow.
150 Attendees, 33 Mentors, 9 Judges, 20 Organizers, 100 pizzas, 800 sandwiches, months of preparations and countless sleepless nights… all this for Startup Weekend Krakow 2012! That was such an amazing weekend! 3 days of pitching, working, talking, planning, designing, creating…
Startup Weekend was a meeting of developers, designers, marketing professionals, entrepreneurs, startup enthusiasts, who came to meet, share their ideas, form teams, develop products and to finally launch startups. It all took place during an unique weekend, during 54 hours. We hope that the 1st edition of SWKrakow allowed the participants not only to establish business contacts, exchange experiences, but also to spend time in the company of interesting people with similar interests.

Rules of FINAL PRESENTATIONS
1. EVERY TEAM HAS TO BRING THEIR OWN LAPTOP FOR PRESENTATION!
2. One team can have ONE or TWO persons who will present the project.
3. You have: 3 + 2 + 3 minutes.
- 3 minutes:
It’s time for GENERAL IDEA PRESENTATION – you can use slides, photos, screenshots. - 2 minutes:
DEMO TIME – if you have a working prototype of your product, this is the time to show it. You have to talk about it – explain how it works. NOTE: You cannot use these 2 minutes for slides/photos/screenshots – DEMO ONLY! - 3 minutes:
QUESTIONS&ANSWERS – time for judges to ask you as many questions as they manage to ask you in 3 minutes. - You can use first 3 minutes (GENERAL IDEA PRESENTATION) to present your prototype, but if you do so, you cannot use DEMO TIME (next 2 minutes) for slides/photos/screenshots.
4. We will be very strict about keeping the exact time of every part of your presentation!
