Grzegorz WójcikBio: Grzegorz Wójcik is CEO/General Director of Allegro Group. Grzegorz joined the Group in the end of 2009 as IT Director & CIO, responsible for all IT operations and development. Since summer 2010 he has been additionally running multiple Allegro businesses as head of international operations and member of management team. In years of 2006-2009 Grzegorz worked for ITI Group – the largest multimedia holding in Poland which consists of such assets as nation-wide television and thematic channels (TVN Group), largest Polish horizontal portal (Onet.pl Group & Dreamlab), satellite platform (N) and set of multiplex digital cinemas (Multikino).
Entering the group he was responsible for set up of new company, center of IT competence and research & development for new technologies and synergies in television, internet and telecommunication fields for all holding companies. Later on he was appointed Management Board Member of Onet.pl Group responsible for of all portal information and thematic services, social media sector, e-commerce sector and product design studio and simultaneously New Media Department Director in TVN SA responsible for cross-media interactive projects, formats and television’s internet operations. Over 12 years of cross-media experience also covers managing internet businesses in companies such as RMF FM (largest Polish radio network), Interia.pl (7 years from start-up to mature phase of leading Polish internet portal – now part of Bauer Media Holding) or PBI (Polish Internet Research) as head of supervisory board, responsible for setting measurement standard of Internet by coordinating joint efforts of 6 largest internet portals and introduction of Gemius/PBI measurement methodology, which is now used world-wide.
Robert BednarskiBio: Robert Bednarski is a PhD in Economics. Between 1997 and 2001, he conducted executive training programs in accounting for capital groups and in corporate finance. Prior to joining Onet, Robert Bednarski worked at the Can Pack capital group, where over 5 years of his employment, he gained experience in various areas of the finance management of a large international organization. He joined Onet in 1999 as Chief Financial Officer becoming a member of the Management Board in December 2001. Since March 2006, he acts as Vice President, being now responsible for the portal and social department, marketing and research, PR, administration, finance, commerce, legal department and corporate relations.
Marek WylonBio: Founder and owner of Ganymede and GameLab as well as co-owner of Can’t Stop Games, CEO of Ganymede, computer science graduate at Akademia Górniczo–Hutnicza in Cracow, programmer, enthusiast of games, successful entrepreneur, excellent understander of entertainment industry and how to satisfy and monetize users, passionate about game design and servers architecture but forced to pay salaries, sign countless documents and do administrative job that isn’t fun, has the ability to see market opportunities and to make things happen.
Michał BonarowskiBio: Managing Director, UBIK Business Consulting. Formerly a journalist, currently new media communications specialist.He has worked since the early 90s for traditional media, and then in the interactive, particularly using the Internet as a platform to reach customers. Publisher of the first Polish press publications on the Internet. Worked for the media and publishers, such as: Gazeta Bankowa, Businessman Magazine, Tygodnik Polityka, TVP 2, Infor Biznes Trendy, Onet.pl, IDG, Presspublica, the Polish Press Agency. He co-founded a publishing policy of several interactive media, and is still actively involved in creating web sites at the intersection of information, entertainment and social media. Currently advises investments funds and deals with an integrated communication outside the media industry. A member of ISOC Poland and the Polish Public Relations Association (PSPR)
Artur PotockiBio: President of the Management Board of INTERIA.PL. Graduated from the Faculty of Management of AGH University of Science and Technology. His tenure at Interia.pl dates back to the beginning of his professional career: he began as a promotions specialist and then moved on to the position of Promotions Officer. In October 2006, he assumed the role of CMO, and in July 2008 became a Member of the Board. From October 2007 to July 2009, he was a member of the Supervisory Board of an Internet research company Polskie Badania Internetu, as well as a member of the Research Methodology Council for the Megapanel PBI/Gemius Study. He spends his free time cooking, reading, or running (he is a marathon runner). He lives in a house outside Kraków with his wife, two daughters, and their pet cat.
Łukasz WejchertBio: Over the past 10 years Łukasz has been running the Onet Group, the largest Polish online media company. Onet operates the leading Polish web properties including: Onet.pl (horizontal portal), OnetVOD (video-on-demand), Sympatia.pl (dating) and ZUMI.pl (map-based local search).
Since 2006, Onet has been part of the TVN Group – Poland’s leading commercial FTA broadcaster, DTH and thematic TV channels operator where Lukasz was the VP responsible for online activities.
TVN Group in turn is owned by ITI Holdings, which is a private media and entertainment group active in television broadcasting, internet, digital television platform, multiplex cinema operations. Lukasz was a Member of Executive Board of ITI Group.
In December 2011, Łukasz sold his equity stake in ITI Holdings to focus 100% on pure play online and technology-driven projects.
Lukasz’s first start-up was Tenbit.pl in 1999, which at that time was the pioneering and leading Polish web basedgames site.
In 2000 he co-founded e-farm (an Internet company incubator), which managed to launch MediaX the first Polish online exchange for advertising inventory – although not a financial success, the dividends came in the form of learning. Before joining the media world, Lukasz worked in investment banking with ING Barings, Deutsche Morgan Grenfell andMerrill Lynch. Lukasz was born in Poland, but lived in Denmark for 17 years. He graduated from the Finance and Economy at Portobello College in Dublin.
Rafał HanBio: Serial entrepreneur, coach and investor in the innovative project and extraordinary and unique teams. Founder and CEO at HanBright – Kids edutainment projects such as ciufcia.pl – largest polish website with edutainment games for prescholers. HanBright is focusing now on foreign markets, mobile app and marchendising. Co–Founder of BrightBerries – Angel Seed founding for startups. Founded in 2009 to invest and promote startups on early stage from eastern and central Europe (webshake.tv, futbolowo.pl, lingapp.com, heartpick.com and others) BrightBerries is especially interested in web and mobile projects. Rafal works with startups on their ideas, strategic directions, entrepreneurial skills and marketing.
Piotr WilamBio: co-founder, ceo @ Innovation Nest; entrepreneur, founder of Pascal Publishing; co-founder and first president of Onet.pl; business angel; a philosopher and mathematician, graduate of KUL, Oxford University and London Business School.
Andrzej TargoszBio: Network and security specialist (with passion and education), entrepreneur (by birth), initiator, organizer and co-organizer of IT conferences since 2004, such as: meetBSD (given to the community in 2006), CONFidence, JDD, PLNOG, EuroNOG, e-nnovation. CEO of the IT Education Supporting Foundation PROIDEA since 2004. Co-founder of OWASP Poland Chapter, in 2008-2010, the member of OWASP Global Education Committee.
